This book is about a girl who has to move to Mexico with her grandmother because her mom is trying to find a steady home and job so they can live a good life. Her dad has a job and can’t be with his daughter because he travels a lot. So her mom had to move also until she got her life together after her and her husband’s divorce. So now that Haley is getting to know Mexico she finds out that a ghost is living in her and her grandmother’s home. So she looks at all the letters on the computer that Veronica also known as the “ghost” had written about her father because she thinks veronica’s father killed her by pushing her down the steps. Haley and her friend find all these things about Veronica and try to get more facts about her from her grandmother, but she doesn’t know about it. She then learns about how Mexico celebrate the Day of the Dead, and thinks she will find out about Veronica from this day because they say all the people’s names that die around their community.
